Taureau Group, LLC is excited to share that our client, Geographic Information Services, Inc. (GISinc), has been acquired by Continental Mapping Consultants, LLC, creating one of the largest, pure play geospatial services and solutions companies in North America. Continental Mapping is a portfolio company of Bluestone Investment Partners, a private equity group investing in lower middle market companies in the defense and government services arena.
GISinc is a provider of GIS-enabled services and solutions for the US Army, Navy, Air Force and Marine Corps, Federal agencies such as the Bureau of Land Management, state and healthcare companies, and numerous commercial entities.
