Preston Bauer

As an Analyst for Taureau Group, Preston supports the firm’s buy- and sell-side engagements through acquisition research, financial modeling, pitch development, and client communication. Working closely with the team, he brings an analytical, client-focused approach to advancing each engagement and delivering value for the firm’s clients.

Prior to joining Taureau Group, Preston completed Associated Bank’s Credit Analyst Program, where he developed a foundation in commercial credit underwriting. He then supported the bank’s Southeast Wisconsin Commercial & Industrial division, working alongside portfolio managers to serve a diverse client base..

Preston received his Bachelor of Business Administration from UW-Madison, where he double majored in Finance, Investment & Banking and Real Estate.  

Outside of work, Preston enjoys golfing, lifting, fishing, following Wisconsin sports and spending time outdoors.
