Peter Braun

As an Analyst at Taureau Group, Peter supports buy-side advisory and acquisition efforts for private and publicly held businesses and private equity groups. Working closely with senior team members, he assists clients throughout the acquisition process, including target identification, industry and company research, financial analysis, buyer outreach, and transaction execution support.

Through a disciplined and proactive sourcing approach, he helps identify both on- and off-market opportunities aligned with clients’ investment objectives and long-term growth strategies.

Prior to joining Taureau Group, Peter spent four years at Fisher Investments, one of the world’s largest independent investment advisers. During his tenure, he held roles within both the Private Client Group and Portfolio Management Group, most recently serving as a Portfolio Implementation Specialist.

Peter earned both a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance, Cum Laude, and a Master of Science in Finance from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, where he focused his studies on security valuation, investment banking, and capital budgeting. Peter also completed Wall Street Prep training in financial statement and discounted cash flow (DCF) modeling and holds the FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) certification.
