As a key team member of Taureau Group, Michael works closely with the investment banking team to realize the goals of clients. He performs valuation analyses, constructs complex financial models, conducts industry research and works with clients to create offering materials for potential sell-side and buy-side companies. He assists with identifying the highest potential buyers or sellers, while evaluating comparable companies and relevant transactions to create pitch books and calculations of value.
Michael has assisted clients in a variety of industries, including manufacturing, service and distribution. His transaction experience includes developing sell-side and buy-side strategies, leading marketing processes, contacting potential targets, executing auction processes, assisting in the negotiation of transaction terms, and sourcing financing.
Prior to joining Taureau Group, Michael was a portfolio manager for a regional financial institution. He is experienced in the financial industry having worked with companies across a wide range of sizes and industries. He is knowledgeable in the legal documentation process, loan request merits and structures, and analyzing performance metrics.
