Jake Mende, CPA

As an Associate for Taureau Group, Jake brings invaluable financial modeling and research expertise to the investment banking team. Jake’s work uniquely strengthens the ways in which Taureau Group works on both the sell and buy side of deals. His expertise lies in financial modeling and analysis as well as industry and market analysis to support strategic decisions for achieving client objectives.

Prior to joining the firm, he served as an Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Milwaukee where he acquired practical experience in the financial service and private equity sectors. Jake obtained his Bachelor’s in Accounting and Master of Professional Accountancy degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and is a Certified Public Accountant. He also enjoys passing on his knowledge and expertise as an Adjunct Lecturer at his alma mater in the College of Business and Economics.

Just like when hunting for vintage vinyl to add to his extensive collection, Jake’s attention to detail and patience in Taureau Group’s thorough sell and buy processes ultimately lead to exciting conclusions for both the team and clients. When he’s not in the office or at the local record store, you can find Jake exploring new hikes and new home brews with his dog, aptly named Brewer.
