Taureau Group Advises Ownersedge, Inc. On New Acquisition

OwnersEdge, Inc., an ESOP holding company based in Brookfield, Wisconsin, announced that they have acquired QComp Technologies, Inc., a robotic systems integrator based in Greenville, Wisconsin. The principals of Taureau Group, an investment advisory firm headquartered in Wisconsin, advised OwnersEdge on the transaction.
QComp Technologies provides robotic packaging systems, material handling systems and automation line integration for clients in a variety of industries throughout the United States and Canada. QComp was founded by Tom Doyle in 1990 and has approximately 35 employees.
Lisa Reardon, president, CEO and chairman of OwnersEdge, will become CEO of QComp and work with Doyle and his executive management team.
OwnersEdge Inc. was formed as an ESOP holding company in January 2015. OwnersEdge now has four 100 percent employee-owned companies–BAYCOM Inc., CC&N, QComp Technologies and TourGuide Solutions–and more than 300 employees. Each of its portfolio companies are 100 percent employee-owned.
“We currently have four companies in our portfolio. Our ultimate goal is to have eight businesses,” said Reardon. “We’re interested in companies that are poised for growth, have a healthy culture and are run by leaders who see the value in an ESOP model.”
