Marketing Intern

The marketing intern will work directly with the marketing manager and leadership team to support the execution of marketing strategies that inform and engage our network of business owners, private equity groups, and referral partnerships.
Principal Accountabilities
The duties identified below are the essential responsibilities of the intern position.
- Draft and edit high-impact content for blog posts, firm announcements, and social media updates
- Assist in writing and designing e-blasts via MailChimp to reach target industry verticals
- Support the maintenance and optimization of Taureau Group’s website and digital footprint
- Maintain and update the firm’s CRM platform to ensure accurate and timely tracking of critical information
- Perform market research and industry trends to inform the firm’s marketing and positioning strategy
- Perform various other administrative support functions as reasonably requested by the Firm
Qualifications
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge and skills required.
Education/Certification/Licensure
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or Business Administration
Knowledge and Skills Required
- Exceptional writing skills and the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously
- Advanced knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) preferred, but not required
- Experience with social media content management and basic analytics
- Strong attention to detail and a data-driven mindset for measuring marketing performance
- Ability to research industries, companies and contacts
- Excellent judgment and discretion regarding sensitive and/or confidential information
