The Analyst is responsible for primarily supporting investment banking engagements. The Analyst will also work on projects related to investment banking services, including business sales and divestitures, acquisitions, MBOs, recapitalization, business valuations, and other corporate finance services as appropriate.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Provide execution support for M&A transactions and business due diligence. 
  • Support development of confidential information memoranda, management presentations, marketing, and other presentations.
  • Perform company and industry research.
  • Prepare, analyze, and explain historical and projected financial information.
  • Support valuations of companies and businesses.
  • Assist to market and plan projects.
  • Firm/team administration and perform Firm and team administrative duties.
  • Build relationships and maintain direct contact with clients, prospective clients, and professional advisers. Networking and business development activities expected to make up less than five hours per month.
  • Engage in ongoing personal development in line with the growth and development strategy.


To perform this position successfully, an individual must demonstrate regular, predictable attendance and be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance and/or general business; MBA preferred.

Experience Required

1+ years of experience in investment banking or corporate M&A.

  • Strong financial analysis skills and knowledge of accounting
  • Possess excellent critical thinking skills
  • Organizational and project management skills with ability to handle multiple projects at once
